Sara Evans stays strong at #1 again this week giving her a nice Mother’s day.
Elsewhere on the charts, Brad Paisley and Chris Young make giant leaps into the top 10 with Paisley’s “Old Alabama” moving up six to #5 and Young’s “Tomorrow” jumpimg seven to #7.
There are also two debuts this week. Martina McBride comes in at #24 with her new single, which is an ode to Mothers (and Fathers) everywhere who have to deal with “Teenage Daughters.” Also entering the countdown, at #23, is Dierks Bentley’s fun new drinking song “Am I The Only One”.
As always the CML Chart combines radioplay, album sales, along with popularity (video countdowns, frequency in the news, etc.) and internet downloads.
