Florida Georgia Line ends 2013 the same way it started it, in the #1 spot on the CML chart. They began the year at #1 with their breakthrough smash “Cruise” and this week take over the top spot with their fourth single “Stay”. Moving into the runner-up position is new group Parmalee, going from #3 to #2 with “Carolina”. Rounding out the top five are Luke Bryan’s “Drink A Beer”, Eli Young Band’s “Drunk Last Night” and David Nail’s “Whatever She’s Got”.
Three new songs enter the chart this week with the highest debut coming from Garth Brooks, who makes his return to the charts with a new duet with his wife Trisha Yearwood. They enter together at #23 with “The Call”. Also debuting this week are new duo Dan + Shay, which come in at #24 with their debut single “19 You + Me”. Randy Houser also enters the countdown with “Goodnight Kiss” at #25.
As always, the CML Chart combines radioplay, album sales, along with popularity (video countdowns, frequency in the news, etc.) and internet downloads.
