Tim McGraw holds on for a second week at the top of the chart with “Shotgun Rider”, but Carrie Underwood has her eyes on #1 as she moves into the runner-up position with “Something In The Water”. Maddie & Tae are also making a strong case to make it all the way to the top with their debut single “Girl In A Country Song”, moving up two to #3.
Three new songs enter the chart this week with Luke Bryan’s “I See You”, the sixth single off of his album Crash My Party, debuting all the way up at #14. Blake Shelton gets some help from Ashley Monroe on his new single “Lonely Tonight”, which comes in at #20 and Chris Young’s “Lonely Eyes” enters at #25. Thomas Rhett also re-enters this week at #18 with “Make Me Wanna”, which fell off the countdown for a week last week.
As always, the CML Chart combines radioplay, album sales, popularity, video countdowns and internet downloads and streaming.
