This is a good one.
I heard this one on Spotify the other day and it stood out. We’ve had Brett on CML Before. He released a new album last year and it seems like things have been going pretty well. He has a unique style and sound and I think it’s ready made for country radio.
Give this new one a listen and see if Brett can win you over (if you’re not already a fan).

Brett has been doing big things up in Canada. They have some great country music up there. Some might even say that it’s more country than what we’re doing down here in the States, but that’s a topic for another day.
When I hear this song it sounds like something you’d hear on country radio with Joe Nichols, Dustin Lynch or someone like that as the artist. But I’m glad that it was done by Brett Kissel. He has a way of sounding familiar while also sounding like his own artist. He doesn’t sound like those other artists. He sounds like someone new and he sounds like himself. I like that.
The song is a love song about two people that are living in the moment. They’re enjoying a night together. It sounds like there really weren’t any big plans for the night, but they’re enjoying being with each other. They’re hanging out, riding along in the truck and even going for a little dip in the swimming spot.
Great song. Great new artist. I hope he can get some connections and get heard in the US.
