Moonshine Bandits

Just in time for summer.

Let’s check in with the Moonshine Bandits. We’ve featured these guys on the blog in the past and it’s always been kind of fun. They’re part of that Average Joes group that has always been doing their own thing. And it’s been pretty cool.

This new song comes just in time to kick off the summer months. If you’ve ever spent time hanging out on the water then you’ll enjoy this one.

I grew up and live in Wisconsin (over 15,000 lakes…) and this song makes me smile.

Dad’s Pontoon – Moonshine Bandits

This song is just meant to be kind of chill, laid back and fun. That’s kind of how it hits home for me. It makes me think about all the summers I’ve spent chilling on pontoons and boats in the past.

And heck…I still do that most summers. There’s something fun about putting along on the lake on a hot summer day. You stop in at the sand bars and throw a frisbee around with some friends. Or you stop in at the beach bar and throw back a few beers.

The Moonshine Bandits have always done their own thing in country music. I know for a fact that this song’s lyrics are all country. The style may be a little different, but that’s what’s cool about country. There is room for everybody and it’s always a mash up of many different styles.

These guys have their own style. It’s sincere. And a lot of people dig it and relate to it.

I like this one.
