Not sure I saw this coming. Could anyone have saw this one?
We’re talking a potential new country cheating anthem. In the same vein as those from Dolly Parton and the era of country singers in the ’70s and ’80s.
Just stone country right here.
Cam broke out a couple years ago with another cheating song, Burning House. She’s been looking for her big followup since then. I guess it was just one more single that didn’t really hit quite as big. But that was a difficult single to follow.
Anyway, this one could be the next big thing at country radio.

The song is from the perspective of the other woman. She”s talking to the wife of a man that was cheating. On his wife and with the narrator.
The narrator is pleading to the wife. Letting her know that she didn’t know the guy was taken. Letting her know that she would go back and change her decision if she could. And also letting her know that this guy is not a good guy to be with.
That’s the story in the lyrics. What may be the even bigger story is the sound. It’s got this classic yet fresh country sound. Very big. Very singalong. Almost like a church hymn or something in a way. Something people would sing with passion.
I was wondering what Cam might have been up to. It sounds like she was busy working on that next single and this one could be huge.
