Kip Moore has what sounds like another hit on his hands.
Kip Moore isn’t really like other country artists. He’s a surfer. He wears his ball cap backward. He wears cutoff shirts and he just seems to want to do things his own way.
And that includes coming out with rocking country songs. The studio version of this new single is really rocking. You’ll have to check that one out, but I think this acoustic version is pretty cool too.

Dirt Road – Kip Moore
The song is about growing up in a religious setting. You hear all the scary things that could happen if you make bad decisions. The thing about life, though, is that everybody makes bad decisions. Nobody is exempt, but some people beat the drum and really are out there to scare others into acting good.
This song doesn’t go against all that. Instead, the narrator simply wants to go to a place where there’s all the things he appreciates in life right now like good friends and small towns. Is it really all that bad to have a few beers now and then and enjoy life with good music and good friends? I don’t think so and it doesn’t seem like Kip Moore think so either.
Kip says the song has been popular with fans during his live shows and I can see why. It sounds like another hit.
