Sometimes the most country music that comes across my desk is from outside the US.

There is some cool country sounds coming out of Canada.

And I know that Texas is obviously part of the US, but sometimes it feels like they’re their own country. And they do have their own brand of country music that I love.

There is also some great country music coming from countries in Europe. This new song is from a country band out of Norway. They have a great sound and I like this new one.

Fair Game – Sons Of Vanity

This song seems a little on the sad side. At first I thought maybe it was a love song. I guess it could be in a way.

I could be completely off on this interpretation, but I’m thinking it’s about two people that can’t quit each other. They’ve been together. They’ve left each other.

It seems that they’re not good for each other. They have a connection. There is something that keeps bringing them back together. Maybe it’s just the history they have with each other that does it.

But no matter what happens they still end up hurting each other. Yet they can’t quit.

If that’s not a country story I don’t know what is. We kind of lead crazy weird lives sometimes. We do things even though we know they’re not good for us. And that goes for relationships too.

This is a great song from a great country band from Norway.
