Gloriana

Gloriana is ready to follow up their smash hit record.

Gloriana had a huge hit with their last single. It was the band’s first top 3 single and it still has an outside chance at the number one spot. The band is ready to move on to their next single, though. They want to keep this momentum rolling. Check out the new song and see if you think the band is on to a formula that really works.

Can’t Shake You – Gloriana

With this new album the now trio Gloriana has found a new formula. They still like to have fun, but they’re focusing more on the frustrations and emotions that come along with young love. The band has also incorporated this really pop and almost adult contemporary sound. It’s kind of like a throwback to the ’80s or mid-90s a little bit. It’s kind of cool and it’s certainly different. Some people might compare them to the other mixed bands out there like Lady Antebellum, but there is a definite difference with Gloriana.

Can’t Shake You is about what the title says. There is a cool play on the emotion about two people being apart. The female is there and so is the guy in the relationship. The two are struggling to get over each other. They’re apart, but there is always something that keeps the other on their mind.

If you’ve ever been in a relationship you know how this goes. Sometimes you just can’t shake a person off your mind. You try and try, but you can’t forget about the good times. It’s easy to forget the bad times it seems. I’m not sure why that is but that’s how it works.

What do you think?

Is this another smash hit for Gloriana?

I think it sounds like a song their fans are going to love. It’s a sure top five.

Chart Estimate: #5

CML Points: 79/100
