Jason Michael Carroll is back with new music. This one seems to have been crowd and self-funded. We just looked at Jason’s career yesterday and the exciting news is that he’s still active and putting out some great music. Check out this new song and see what you think.
God Only Knows – Jason Michael Carroll
It’s not a cover of the Beatles [edit: meant Beach Boys] hit (although that probably would have been cool). This is a brand new song about a guy that blew his chance with the girl of his dreams. It’s a bit of a sad song, but the guy seems to blame nobody but himself and that’s always a good first step.
But I don’t think the girl will let him back. I guess you never know, but sometimes these things can be a good thing in the long run.
It’s also a rocking country song. Jason has always had that kind of edge in his music. It seems to be one of the things his fans have loved and a reason he’s been around for nearly ten years on the mainstream now.
By the end of the song you’re kind of rocking back and forth with this one. It’s uptempo and kind of makes you feel like the guy in the song is just trying to catch up with all the things that have happened since he made a mistake…or mistakes.
