What do you think of this modern one from Reba?
Reba is back with new music. She sounds as good as ever and I think country fans are loving her new single. The song is already on the charts and working its way up. Give it a listen if you haven’t already heard it and see what you think. After all these years Reba sounds as good as ever. I like this one.
Going Out Like That – Reba McEntire
Reba has always been one of the best storytellers in country music. This story is about a girl that just had her boyfriend break up with her. But she’s not going to sit at home and worry about him at all. She’s going out to enjoy herself. She’s looking at this break as an opportunity.
Reba definitely has never been afraid to try new things. And this track definitely has a modern country production. It doesn’t sound like classic Reba tracks other than the voice, but I think that’s okay. You have to evolve otherwise you’ll be stuck back your heyday. And the one thing we know about Reba is that she’s always going to keep pushing herself to do better and to keep moving forward.
You have to respect and love that about her. And I think she’ll please her old fans and will earn herself some new fans with this one.
