Gonna Know We Were Here by Jason Aldean (@Jason_Aldean)

Jason Aldean has been about as consistent as it gets with rolling out hit songs.

He’s coming off three number ones from his latest album and now we’re rolling with the fourth single. From early listens it sounds like another number one hit.

It’s a little different than the last couple songs Jason has put out from this record, but the theme is definitely one you’ll recognize from this country star.

The last few times out Jason changed things up with some steamy romantic songs. You could definitely tell that things had changed a little bit in his life with those songs. And fans were loving the change. The songs still were very much Jason Aldean songs, but the theme had changed.

With this one, though, Jason is getting back to the familiar theme of living life to the fullest. The song leaves things open for interpretation for any point in life with the common theme being that you have to live life and leave your mark to make it worth leaving.

You could make the jump on this one and say it’s an anthem for those that are young. Maybe the kids in high school or right around that age that are going to leave their mark on the town they’re from even if they end up moving away as they grow up.

It’s a rocker and we’ve come to love that style from Jason. He knows how to turn up the volume and get fans feeling like they can take on the world.

It’s a familiar theme to Tattoos On This Town, but the sound is fresh and I think fans are going to dig this one.
