I like this one.
Ira Wolf is a new artist for me and for Country Music Life.
I get kind of excited when I see a new name out there. You never know what kind of country music it will be. There are so many different sounds out there. It’s really a great time in the country world and really in the entire music space.
I don’t know much about Ira. I’ve checked out a few songs from her new album. This one seems to be one of the most popular. And it looks like she has a pretty substantial fanbase already.

I’ve been listening through on this one. Trying to figure out the story behind the lyrics. There seems to be some reflection on life going on. Maybe looking at where she has been. The things she wanted to accomplish. The things she still wants to accomplish. And figuring out if she can get there. If she needs to change anything to get there.
That could be completely missing the mark. You’ll have to let me know what it’s really about.
I am getting swept up in the music and the sound of the vocals. It’s really wonderful. A little wispy. Kind of that Americana kind of feel. But also a little bluegrass sound in there as well. It’s like something you would hear in an old farmhouse several decades ago.
But it also has a fresh sound to it.
People are loving this one. I like it.
