There isn’t much Alan Jackson hasn’t written or sung about over the years. Great song from him to bring his career back into gear a few years ago. He also brought back line dancing in a way. I’m not sure if that was a good thing or not, but people seemed to be pretty happy about it.
18. Cruise – Florida Georgia Line
This is the newest songs on the list, but it’s a good one. You can’t help, but be happy when you sing this one at the top of your lungs. Great song from a really promising new country act. Florida Georgia Line is going places. These two guys know how to create a great melody.

Joe Diffie had to make the list. He had a handful of happy country songs, but this one always seems to bring out the biggest smiles from country music fans.

What a great song. We’re only here for a little while and once you realize that fact you start enjoying life just a little bit more. Great song here from an underrated country artist.

What is better than kicking back on the boat in the middle of the summer with a cold six pack? Not much. That’s why Phil Vassar gets a nod on the list.

The ultimate party song has been making people have for decades now. You can’t go wrong with one of country’s hardest partiers.

Few songs have the power to make you smile from the first note. This story song from George Strait has been a country classic for 20 years now and I’m sure it will be for another 20.
3. Last Dollar (Fly Away) – Tim McGraw
It’s almost like Tim McGraw cheated when he released this song. There is nothing like it on country radio at all. It’s the happiest song of all time perhaps. Big Kenny of Big & Rich wrote it when he was down to his last dollar. If you can be happy with no money you know you love life.
2. It’s A Great Day To Be Alive – Travis Tritt
This is a great song. Travis Tritt can be a little rough around the edges, but he showed his happy side with this song. It became one of the biggest hits of his career and I’m sure he flashes that smile every time he plays it today.
1. Life’s A Dance – John Michael Montgomery
Of all the hits John Michael Montgomery had back in the ’90s this one seems to have the most staying power. There is just something about this catchy tune that makes you feel the urge to sing and dance along. If that doesn’t make you smile I don’t know what will.

All great songs, but I wish to listen to them on a continuous basis. How do I do that?
