Luke Bryan

The next single from Luke is a duet.

Luke Bryan pulled a fast one on us. Actually I probably jumped the gun on his next single. I thought it was going to be Fast, which is one of my favorites from his recent album. I can’t remember where I saw that it would be, but whatever it was the plans have changed.

Here is the next single from Luke Bryan.

Home Alone Tonight – Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan really knows how to find those hooks. This song has some really catchy melodies and that’s one of the things that makes it appealing. You’re sining along by the end of the first listen and that’s a pretty powerful thing.

The song is a story about two people that are out after both going through some difficult relationships. They’re looking for some relief and someone that will make them feel good because for both it’s been a long time since they’ve felt wanted and appreciated.

So it’s not really a cheating song or a love song, but just a song about two people meeting and giving each other what each wants.

Pretty interesting stuff, but certainly a storyline that fits in well with country music. We’re always going through all those emotions related to love and life.

If you recognize the duet partner on the song it’s because it’s Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town. It’s a pretty cool duet and I’m glad they’re on the same label so they could release it as a single.

It sounds like another hit for Luke and we’ll have to wait at least a few months for Fast to come out at radio while this one climbs the charts.

What do you think?

Chart Estimate: #3

CML Points: 84/100
