Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker is back with a new single from his new album.

Darius Rucker is coming off the biggest single of his career with Wagon Wheel. He followed that up with Radio, which was a hit and then a good song that kind of died in the 40s. But that’s fine. It happens sometimes. The thing to do is to keep on moving and Darius is back with his pop-influenced country and it sounds like he has another hit.

Homegrown Honey – Darius Rucker

By now the song has been told a hundred times. Darius comes from the pop world and he’s never been shy to say that he likes making pop-influenced country that is made for country radio. The thing is that I think just about all his songs are more country than a lot of other artists out there right now. I think his music is great and I’m obviously not alone because just about all his songs become hits.

This one is about the good things that come from the country life. Darius obviously spends some time in the big cities including New York and it just seems to remind him that he misses being back home where things are good including the food, the country roads and the woman he loves more than anything.

People are going to like this one. It’s catchy and fun. You can’t help, but sing along with it.

Let me hear it – what you are your thoughts?

Chart Estimate: #5

CML Points: 85/100
