The momentum is building for this song.
This song has been getting some attention from country fans for the last few months. I think I first heard it on Spotify on Wild Country or possibly even Hot Country. The song is really catchy and sounds like it would be perfect for country radio.
Maybe that’s already happening. I know that Sirius’s The Highway has been known to play under-the-radar artists and Luke would seem to fit that mold.

Hurricane – Luke Combs
This is one of those songs that has been around for awhile, but it’s now starting to get some big time attention. It looks like it is getting some play on radio. Maybe Luke has found a label partner to help push this one up the charts. I hope so because this is a good song.
The song seems to be about a guy and a girl that have been together and have broken it off. Maybe they could tell that things weren’t going to work out and decided to part ways.
But now they’ve met together out again. It seems like a chance meeting, but now they’re together again and they’re falling for all those same feelings. They’re heading back to her place. They know it’ll be good for the short-term, but that it won’t work out well in the end.
This is a story that many can relate to. You’re with someone. You know it’ll never work out for either of you, but sometimes you find that you’re drawn to each other.
And that story is all wrapped up in a really good song. It’s catchy. The production is great. I think it could be a hit this summer.
