Here is one that’s really rocking.

We’ve featured Jess and the Bandits on the blog before. If I remember correctly they also brought this rocking style on the last single.

It looks like this one was just released. There seems to be some autobiographical stuff going on in this one.

It’s uplifting. It’s an anthem. I like it.

So the whole theme going on with this one seems to be: persistence.

And that’s a real key to success in life. If you look at the folks that are successful in life a big key to it is that they just never stopped. Where others have given up somewhere along the way (usually before they even start) the successful folks just kept going. They didn’t have a Plan B.

I’m sure that for Jess and her Bandits this song is about their venture into the music world. You get the feeling that she has dreams of country stardom. She’s probably been working on it since she was pretty young and she’s still going at it.

But they didn’t get too specific with the lyrics. They didn’t make it just about their situation. They made it more approachable for the audience so that listeners could fit themselves into the story of the song.

I don’t know what the future holds for Jess. I don’t know if we’ll hear this one in the mainstream country outlets, but you never know.

I’ll be rooting for her.
