RaeLynn’s “Insecure” is a song from her new album WildHorse, scheduled for release in 2017.
“Insecure” is a particularly significant song. RaeLynn paints a picture that I am sure may ring a bell in all of us. The song seems to be in the point of view from a friend of a woman who is in a relationship. The woman in the relationship is constantly worried about other women flirting with her boyfriend.
“He’s all yours, he ain’t hers, she ain’t worth getting insecure.”
The song is truly beautiful because the point is that we need to have trust in the relationships that we are in. We need to be confident in ourselves and the person that we are with. We need to stop convincing ourselves that another woman is going to steal our man.
“Don’t waste a second second-guessing or get obsessed with her obsessing.”
An extraordinary message. Stop obsessing over things that we cannot control. Trust your significant other. They are with you because you’re you. You are more than enough. Be you.
That’s what I take away from RaeLynn’s “Insecure”. A relatable tune that is encouraging to everyone out there that just needs a push in the self-assurance direction.
I anticipate wonderful things for RaeLynn and the release of WildHorse in 2017.
