Things are about to get serious.

This song instantly hits you like there is some real meaning behind it. I don’t know how artists are able to put their personal lives out there in situations like this. But I guess the reality is that many people have struggles in life including with relationships. So maybe that’s why songs like this become so popular. They reach people and let them know that they’re not alone in what they’re feeling and experiencing.

So let’s check this one out.

It’s Your Move – Josh Kelley

The song has a powerful feel to it. You can feel the tension as you listen to this one.

As you might know, Josh is married to Katherine Heigl. She’s been a big time star in Hollywood with all kinds of romantic comedy hits. In the last few years they’ve brought two children into their lives and while I’m sure things have been wonderful it also seems like there have been challenging times.

And it all kind of plays out in this song. You can feel the emotion in the vocals and the music. And you can pay attention to the music and see how this moment has all kinds of emotion happening. You feel desperation. You feel frustration. You feel helpless. And you ultimately feel love.

Even when things are challenging it seems that if you can remember the things that brought you to someone in the first place that you realize it’s all worth saving and that it’s maybe not as bad as it seems in this moment of pain.

I don’t know what the future will be with this song. It seems like it’s already reaching a lot of people so maybe it’ll be a hit at country radio.

CML Points: 89/100
