I go to a local deli for sandwiches around the corner from my house. They make stellar sandwiches.
Regardless of the food, every time I walk in there I feel like I’m at home.
Home to me is country music.
Last week when I walked in ordering my chef salad the local country station was blasting through the speakers overhead. The sandwich artist and I just so happened to be discussing the latest country sensations just as Florida Georgia Line started cruising through my ears on the radio. We we’re discussing how they’ve became an overnight sensation. He told me that he saw them perform at a local bar right before they “made it big.”
Sure, they were the fresh up- and- coming new duo, but what made them go from college buddies playing local honkey tonks to Nashville’s number one charts made me wonder.
I popped in their new album Here’s To The Good Times and started thinking about their lyrics and it hit me just exactly how these two became overnight stars. The lyrics in each song are relatable. So relatable that you can close your eyes and picture yourself or another in that song. You can picture as someone’s life, from growing up to the struggles of college kids waiting for the ‘hell raising heat of the summer’.
Bryan and Tyler signed with republic Nashville a part of the Big Machine Label group. Each Bryan and Tyler played music in High School and followed their dreams in College where they met. Who would have guessed they would be a leading duo today. Dreams can come true.
The album has a wide range of variety. From songs you can dance to the slow jams you can chill to. I honestly believe the country world has evolved with time and is becoming something fresh to the ears of country lovers.
So here is how you can sit down and relax after a hard day or pop it in for a little dancing around your living room. Listen to Florida Georgia Lines album and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Lose yourself in the music and cheers to the good times.
