Jake Owen Live in Eau Claire, WI 2010

On Thursday night in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Jake Owen took the stage and rocked the crowd of thousands. Jake treated his fans to an hour’s worth of great country music and people loved every second of it. Most stood the entire time and others simply sat back and enjoyed the show.

With screams and cheers, Jake took the stage right on time with his debut single Yee Haw. The crowd responded by singing back the words to the romping honky tonk tune.

The fans paying most attention to Jake’s show were the females. The women and girls were all cheering and shouting their love to Jake. He sang right back to them with hits like Don’t Think I Can’t Love Youand Something About A Woman.

The song that got the guys interested was Jake’s breakout song Startin’ With Me. Grown men were singing every word with their eyes closed to the song that describes mistakes guys tend to make in life. It’s a great song and one that has connected with so many country fans everywhere.

Jake also treated fans to a couple new tunes include one that seems to be a surefire hit. The song is Trip To Heaven and even though people tend to leave during songs they don’t recognize the crowd turned and paid attention to the story as Jake sang it. The crowd gave a big cheer once the song was over and Jake had a big smile on his face. You could tell that he is getting excited about releasing the song to radio. Perhaps it will become his very first #1 hit.

Trip To Heaven will either lead off Jake’s third album or will be on a re-release of Easy Does It. The song is really great. It’s a piano ballad that tells the story of a couple in love.

Jake Owen’s live show as very impressive. He’s great with the crowd and combined a mix of his own tunes with a couple covers to keep the crowd entertained for the entire hour. Jake’s a rising country artist with loads of talent and a bunch of hardcore fans.
