Usually the singers try their hand at acting, but for Jana Kramer both have been passions of hers since an early age. She got her first big breaks in front of the camera including the show One Tree Hill. Now Jana is becoming a country star. She has a single rising on the charts, but here is another song from her that is just as great.

Whiskey – Jana Kramer

Jana Kramer is a great performer. She stole the show at Country Jam 2012 in Eau Claire. People were fully into her show for the entire time she was up there on stage. She has a presence up there. Her voice was strong and her songs were just as great.

The one song that stood out was Whiskey. This is the performance of the song from One Tree Hill. It’s too bad the show is no longer on the air because it was always interesting and included some great music from some pretty big names. The show always had a way of discovering new music talent and the artists featured, like Jana, actually went on to have big careers.

Whiskey is about a girl that gets swept away by a boy. He comes around and she falls for him. Everybody loves this guy. They call him sweet and baby. He’s the one everybody loves and this girl falls for him just like everybody else. But in the end she gets burned. He’s a good timing guy that left her. It leaves the poor girl feeling down just like she had taken a shot of whiskey and gone off the edge.

It’s a great song. The melody is catchy and you really feel the pain in Jana’s voice. There are plenty of heartbreak songs on her new album, but this is the best of them all and that’s saying something because the record is really good.
