Jason Aldean – Take A Little Ride

My album of the year for the last two years has been My Kinda Party by Jason Aldean. It was a huge album and one of the best country albums of all time. The record had five huge hit singles and could have had five more. The album was packed with great songs. It was rocking. It was country. There was something to like for just about all the country fans out there.

It’s only been about a month or so since Fly Over States climbed to the top of the charts, but it seems like we’ve been waiting too long for the next single from Jason Aldean.

He released Take A Little Ride this week and it’s already flying up the charts. I’ve heard it a few times on the radio and people seem to be loving it. The more I listen to this song the more I like it. The classic Aldean sound is there. He’s rocking and ready to have a little fun on the weekend.

I would say that Take A Little Ride is more in the line of Johnny Cash than My Kinda Party, but it’s still really good. The song is really catchy and that’s one thing I love about Jason’s music. He knows how to leave the BS at the front door. He’s all about having a good time and entertaining the crowd. I’m probably a little biased in this review since I’ll be seeing him perform in Eau Claire on Saturday. I can’t wait to see the crowd reaction to this song.

Take A Little Ride is the perfect way to kick off a new album. People want something that rocks especially from a country rockstar. I think the song will be a big hit. I don’t know if it will be one of Jason’s more memorable hits, but it’s the first single and first singles usually just need to get some attention. This song does more than that. It’s going to be a huge hit.
