Jiggley Jones has been in music for many years. He’s been on the edge of Americana and Country for much of his career. He’s had some success over the years, but never mainstream success in terms of a hit record.
Now he has a new project out with the first single being Baby Blue.
Baby Blue – Jiggley Jones
This song is almost like a lullaby. It kind of pulls you in throughout and keeps your attention to the end. Jiggley has the sound of the singer-songwriters of the ’70s. It’s a little James Taylor and a little Jackson Browne. Those guys were some of the early influences of the singer-songwriter movement that kind of has roots in country music as well.
The song seems to be about hope. It has a solid melody, but definitely the slow type of song you would get with Taylor. In the right mood you can kind of kick back and listen to this and let it kind of take over your mood.
