Katie Armigeris a young country singer looking for a hit single.

She’s only 19 years old but she’s been putting music out for four years now without much luck on the charts. Her fist few albums and singles haven’t charted, but there has been a buzz building around Katie’s latest single.

The song is Best Song Everand it’s quite catchy. The title is a bit ambitious, but I wasn’t caught up in the title for very long. I first heard the song a few times on my local country station and have been hearing it every day since. I checked things out and even though it hasn’t officially charted on the country singles charts yet it likely will in just a short time. Radio play always means good things.

Best Song Everis about a girl that is driving around when she hears a song that assures her that the boyfriend she had that cheated on her is actually not a bad guy and the two will be together forever.

I can’t decide if the song is about denial or about love working out. Perhaps it’s open for interpretation in that regard.

What makes the song memorable is the melody. It’s catchy and stands out coming through the radio speakers. That’s usually something that can make a song a hit. The lyrics and the story will decide if the song stays a hit.

I’d say I like this song.
