Scream by Katie Armiger

This is Katie Armiger’s 10th single.

That’s pretty good for a girl that’s only 20 years old. She’s been busy the last few years putting out new music and releasing singles. And don’t think the songs have been throwaways. These have been good tracks including the latest offering, Scream…

Scream – Katie Armiger

Heartbreaks are tough. They make you crazy. They make you want to scream and yell and go a little insane for a bit.

Katie ArmigerKatie Armiger has a great new song. Scream is a song about a girl that’s found out she’s not the one for the guy she’s been with. He’s chosen another one. She wasn’t his choice. She’s left to think about all the things that could be wrong with her. In reality, there is nothing wrong, but it’s hard not to see things that way when someone breaks up with you.

Scream has a powerful vocal. Katie is really a first class talent. She reaches way up to the notes that the best in the business like Faith Hill and Martina have been hitting. Scream leaves you feeling the emotion of this breakup. If you’re going through one or have been through one in the past you’re going to relate to this song. Guy or girl – it’s all the same. Breaking up makes you want to Scream.

Scream is not a song with attitude. It’s not a song that’s about being mean or getting in someone’s face. It’s about the sadness and frustration you feel when someone breaks up with you. You have self doubt. You think about what is wrong with yourself. You think about what is wrong with this person for breaking up with you. It’s hard to reason with anything that’s happening. You’re wondering what could have gone wrong when so many things seemed to be going right.

Katie Armiger has to be a country star in the making. She’s been around for a few years now. She’s been releasing great songs for some time and just hasn’t quite had that one hit that breaks her through to the mainstream country audience. I think it’s going to happen. I think Scream has a chance to become her first top 40 hit. She came close last year and I think she has a great chance this time around. We’ll have to wait and see.

What about this song, Scream? What do you think? Will it become a hit?

I’m thinking for anyone out there that’s ever been through a breakup that this song will hit home. For anyone out there that’s going through a breakup they’ll realize they’re not alone. It unfortunately happens to people all the time and sometimes it isn’t anybody’s faul even though it feels that way.

The entire situation really does make you want to scream and I guess that’s all a person can do in that situation. Scream a little bit and let all the frustration out. And then get up the next morning and keep on living and waiting for things to get better.

Because they will.

Chart Estimate: #40

CML Points: 77/100

I luv this song! But i think it’s about so much more than just a break-up!! I relate, because of the tryin to be a good girl, and holding it all inside, not really tellin people how you feel. Having those times when you just can’t hold it inside anymore, all the pain, and the disappointments, pressures of life. She has a great voice. I luv the song.
