Ready to get Kentucky Dirty?

Laura Bell Bundy is the leader of the pack for the country dance movement.

You could trace dance music back quite a ways in country music. There has always been that line dancing movement on the edges.

Brooks & Dunn had a few songs that enticed country folks to get out on the dance floor. Billy Ray Cyrus did the same thing with his big hit.

But Laura Bell is bringing a little more style to country dancing. It’s modern. It’s upbeat and it’s fresh.

Kentucky Dirty – Laura Bell Bundy

It’s a good song. It’s not really that “dirty” if you’re a parent that’s wondering if your child should listen to it.

It’s just an uptempo song that will make people want to hit the dance floor. There’s drinking and plenty of beats for dancing. It is kind of catchy, but it might be lacking that element that would make it a major smash hit.

Maybe I’m wrong. You’ll have to let me know.

It could do pretty well.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.

Chart Estimate: #50
