Kid Rock Loves Good Music…Zac Brown Band

Zac Brown BandLast year as the Zac Brown Band was climbing the country charts they found themselves with a new fan – Kid Rock.

CMT noted the beginnings of a good friendship with Kid Rock Sits in With Zac Brown Band.

It’s an interesting friendship at first glance, but after thinking about it, these are two musicians that have a pure passion for good music. One of the greatest quotes of all time was when Willie Nelson proclaimed that there are only two kinds of music – good and bad.

Music knows no genre in its purest form. People either love it or cast it aside.

Zac Brown and the boys in his band are some of the best musicians in any music genre today. The guys are a tight band and their live show is a sight to behold. If you’ve seen them live in person or have caught their performance on recent award shows you know that they are special and extraordinary musicians.

Kid RockKid Rock has long been a fan of good music. He’s a big fan of Hank Williams Jr as can be seen by their many collaborations over the past years.

Now, Kid Rock has proclaimed his respect for the newcomers on the country music scene – Zac Brown Band.

ZBB has brought their unique blend of southern-influenced country music to the top of the country charts. They have sent multiple singles off their debut album to the top of the country charts and the album The Foundation has sold well in excess of one million copies. The band has innovated their live show to allow fans to purchase the live recording of the show they attend immediately following the performance by having the MP3 put on a small hard drive (as small as your thumb).

Probably at the heart of Kid Rock’s love for the Zac Brown Band is the songs.

Chicken Fried raced to the top of the country charts as fans instantly connected to the imagery in the lyrics, but credit has to go to the catchy melody along with the simple yet impressive music. The band accomplished the difficult task of making music that is accessible to a large audience yet multi-layered with the best musicianship to achieve a sound quality that is rare in any music genre.

Kid Rock appeared in the band’s 3rd video as an initial partnership began.

Hopefully there is more to come from each artist individually and as a collaboration.
