Stone country from Justin Moore.
Justin Moore went through an interesting time a few years ago. In 2014, he was coming off a big #1 hit with Lettin’ The Night Roll.
Then his label put together a pretty good tribute album for Motley Crue. They put out Justin’s version of Home Sweet Home as a radio single. The song did alright for what it was and made it to #30.
But it always seemed like it might stall things with Justin’s career a little bit. Then his next single, This Kind Of Town, stalled out without even making the top 40.
I don’t know what happened there. That’s a really good song.
But then things turned around. Justin is coming off back to back #1s from his latest album. And the next single is the title track and it’s another good one.
Kinda Don’t Care – Justin Moore
I remember when the album first came out that this one stood out. I just love the sentiment of the song. Things can build up in life and eventually you just kinda don’t care.
The boss is giving you hell all week. Eventually you feel like just having a beer.
The spouse is doing some nagging and getting on your case. Eventually you need to get away and hear someone say something good about you.
It could be anything.
And the track is awesome. Justin will always be traditional country, but he’s done some more progressive stuff and it’s been good. I would say this one is pretty stone country. I think I even hear a steel guitar in there. Not sure, but maybe.
All that being said…awesome song. I love it.
Chart Estimate: #3
