Things seem to be perfect for Lady Antebellum.
The group has been coming off huge upset wins at the Grammy’s and now they’ve won album of the year at the ACM Awards.
Pretty big time.
With 2011 just getting started the group is sure to release more singles from their latest album. While there are multiple tracks off their latest award winning album there is one song I kind of like the most.
The track is Love This Pain. It’s another great track about the trials of young people and the adventures with the opposite sex. I think that’s one of the keys to Lady A’s success. They’re able to capture the emotions young people feel as they experiment with love for the first few times.
In the case of Love This Pain we see the narrator fighting his emotions with a particular person. He can’t keep himself away from this girl even though she makes him feel emotional pain.
It’s like he loves the pain. He loves being with her even though she breaks his heart time after time. He’ll be with her one night and it’ll be great, but she’s gone the next day probably with someone else.
It’s an emotion that works both ways in life for men and women. At some point we’ve all probably had someone we couldn’t be without even though they caused us pain.
