It’s difficult to imagine what country music would look like without Shania Twain. She changed so many things for all artists.
And she sold an incredible amount of music. All around the world. She broke down barriers. She made great music that just about everybody loved.
Country music. Pop music. Everything in between.
And now after a little break she’s back with a brand new single.

Okay, let’s get it out of the way…
Yes, Shania sounds different than she did 12 years ago.
But shouldn’t that be expected?
I think she sounds great on this single. She sounds like herself. She sounds like she should and it fits this song really well.
One thing, of the many, Shania has always been great at was melody. This song has a killer melody. I’m finding that the more I listen to this song the more I like it. It’s beginning to get stuck in my head.
It’s bringing me back to all those killer Shania melodies from the ’90s. Those songs would get stuck in your head for weeks.
The theme in this one is about positivity. About being upbeat about life.
Look, everybody goes through some BS in life. There are always going to be downs from time to time. Sometimes they’ll be really down at the bottom.
But life is cyclical. Things always turnaround if you pay attention to the good things.
