Love this new one from Will Hoge.
Will Hoge has become one of my favorite artists over the last few year. The guy has been around for a long time making music, but in the last few years he’s finally been getting some good momentum and exposure. He’s been making some real good music including this last one.
Little Bitty Dreams – Will Hoge
This seems to be a love story of a song.
And it’s a story song and we’re finally starting to get a few more of those from Nashville these days, which is great.
It starts out with two young lovers and their small town dreams. They have little dreams as kids and those dreams can be big. Who’s to say that a kid can’t grow up and be a star baseball player or president of the United States?
As we grow older our dreams often change. It’s a weird thing. Priorities can change and that’s okay. You never really know what will make you happy. But maybe the important thing is to follow your dreams no matter what they are…even if they change.
I think that’s what the song is about. It’s about two people that follow their dreams together. They encourage each other and push each other. And they’re there for each other including when they have a child. Then they can make sure that little one can always pursue its dreams…even if those dreams change.
Great song. It’s really well done and will probably mean something different for each listener. And that’s pretty special.
