LANco dominated the CML Chart with their song, American Love Story, for a few months. The song was popular with their fans and for some reason that page ranked well on Google, which kind of skewed the results, but that’s okay.
It’s a new year and the band has a new single out for 2016. They’re on Arista Nashville and still looking for that first big radio hit and this one sounds like it could be that. This band has a different sound and a lot of people are liking it.
Check this one out.
Long Live Tonight – LANco
I don’t really know how to describe the music these guys are making. It has elements of Tears For Fears or something like that from the ’80s. And that’s kind of a cool sound to bring into country music. It’s really catchy. All the songs this band has been putting out the last year or so have been really catchy and this one continues that trend.
From what I gather the song’s theme is about love and being in the moment. It seems like so much of the world today is about being tuned into the phone and being connected at all times. It really is a distraction from what is going on in the world in front of us, which includes love and all the good things that go with it.
I really like this song. I know it’s getting all kinds of play on the big country playlists on Spotify. It sounds like a hit to me.
