It wasn’t too long ago that we looked at a song from Brandy Clark’s new album. That song didn’t go on to become the next single. So we’re going to review the official next single from that record right now.
The way I look at it is you can’t really have enough Brandy Clark music on Country Music Life. She’s really one of the best songwriters and singers in Nashville right now.
So let’s check this one out. Brandy is on Warner Bros. right now. I didn’t realize that until now. That gives this single a pretty good chance of getting some airplay.

Not every country song needs to be about real life emotions. Or let me say it this way, not every country song needs to be about the difficult emotions in life.
But it’s important that some songs are like that and this is one of those songs. It’s about the pain a person feels when love doesn’t work out the way it was expected. We have a person that is angry and frustrated with the way love has gone. They’re not really looking to blame any person or anything like that. For the moment they’re just looking at blaming love and needing a little time away from that part of life.
This is a really good song. It’s emotional. It’s something many people go through, which is sad, but it’s part of life. I really like this one a lot and hope it gets the attention at radio it deserves.
