Dean Brody Love Would Be Enough

A good one from up in Canada.

Dean Brody was signed to Broken Bow Records a few years ago. That first album didn’t make too much noise in the US, but since that time Dean has been making his mark on the Canadian country charts.

Over the last few years his career seems to be picking up steam. And his latest single release has been making moves on the chart and could be on its way to number one.

Check it out.

Love Would Be Enough – Dean Brody

This is something a little different. I like the way it starts out. It’s pretty simple with just a little picking and the story of a guy that doesn’t need much to be happy in the world. As long as he has the one he loves he knows that they can be happy.

It’s a good perspective to have. And it seems that artists have had this outlook on life for a long time. Most of them need to have that outlook out of necessity because of the whole starving artist thing.

As the song goes on it picks up a little steam. The pace speeds and by the end you’re feeling like you’re a little out of breath. I think it’s kind of a cool thing.

Life is something to celebrate. Sometimes we can get caught up in the rat race and before you realize what’s going on you’re wrapped up in work and you’re not enjoying the things that really matter.

I can see why this one has been climbing the charts in Canada. It’s a good one.

CML Points: 84/100
