They’re growing and so is their music.
The guys in Florida Georgia Line have made it clear that they’re trying to make music that represents where they are in their lives in the present.
I think they’ve done a good job of that. Their first album had quite a few party songs. The second album did as well, but they started having more songs looking at life in general.
Now the guys are married so they have more love songs and more songs that look at life and that’s kind of where this next one fits in.
May We All – Florida Georgia Line
This one is pretty cool. We have Tyler on the main vocals to kick things off. Then we have guest Tim McGraw coming in followed up by Brian who we don’t always get to hear on these singles.
So there’s quite a lot going on with the vocals, but it really works well. It’s cool that the guys brought in Tim on this one. They’re in the same label family so the guest vocals shouldn’t have been any issue for a single.
The song is about fondly looking at the life we can live here in America. It’s about realizing that we’re lucky even if things are tough sometimes. We have to appreciate what we have.
This one sounds like another big hit for these guys. Just about all their singles have reached the top spot on all the singles charts and I don’t see any reason this one will be different.
It’s a hit single and it’s showing some cool growth in the music they’re making.
