The community at CML, including you, read hundreds of different reviews, lists, and posts this past year. The content has changed a little over the last year. CML now focuses on the latest country music songs providing unique perspective on the kinds of songs you can expect to hear on radio in the near future.
Lists continue to be popular on CML, though. People love lists and that includes lists of great country songs. Some of the most outspoken members of the CML community have voiced their opinions regarding the lists. This list started early in the year as a way to recap the best songs of the year as the year went along. Each quarter we looked at the top songs and the list concludes with the top songs of the entire year. There were great songs released in 2011 and there was no way I could wait until December to recap them all.

Brad Paisley was a hot artist in the country music world once again in 2011. A new album and a slew of new top singles brought out Brad’s fans looking for new info as the year kicked off.
3. Tomorrow by Chris Young
Chris Young took his career to another level in 2011 with the release of Tomorrow followed later by one of the best albums of the year with Neon.
4. Artist Outlook 2011: Carrie Underwood
It was a relatively quiet year for Carrie, but that didn’t keep her passionate fans from finding new information about their favorite artist. Carrie still topped the charts in 2011 and 2012 is shaping up to be a huge year for the country queen.

There was a lot of discussion about the future of Tim McGraw in 2011. The future is more clear now and Tim is ready for a huge 2012.
