This one is pretty fun.
Last fall there was this new song hanging around that was really good. The band was Levon. I believe they were brand new at the time. I don’t think the song got quite as high on the charts as the guys were hoping, but it made at least a little dent.
I kind of forgot about them since then, but I’m sure they’ve been out working hard. It looks like they released an EP earlier this year and I think they have a new single out that’s making a few waves.

This song makes me smile.
The sound is what first catches my ear. It reminds me of some of the sounds from the late ’90s and early ’00s in the pop world. Just fun uptempo catchy tunes. They remind me of my high school and college days. Just chilling, hanging out and having a good time. Not taking life too seriously.
And that’s kind of the vibe with this song too. I think we have a story from college. A guy that’s tending bar kind of hitting on an older woman that has found her way into the bar.
It’s a pretty good story. One that kind of makes you smile. I think both guys and girls have had fantasies in their younger days about being with someone a little older.
It’s all in good fun.
I’m curious to see how this song does. It’s nothing too serious, but I like it. This band seems to have some real potential.
