The Scott Brothers are obviously most well known for the home improvement shows on HGTV. But they’ve also released a few songs in the country world and those songs are pretty good.
This time, though, they’re changing things up with a cover of a popular pop song.

You’ll probably have to be a fan of the Hot 100 to know it. The song is from rapper Flo Rida (Florida, get it?). He’s had a number of catchy hits and I have to admit that they’ve been guilty pleasures of mine over the years. Who doesn’t want to dance and have fun?
The Scotts have fun with this one. They sing and talk along with the lyrics, but add a little of their own style. You wouldn’t maybe expect them to be the kind to kick back and have a party, but it looks like they really had fun with this one.
And I like that they don’t take themselves too seriously.
And to add some country cred? Theres Eric Paslay singing his own verse and doing it pretty well.
This is just a fun, cool song that’s about having a good time and enjoying life.
I can get on board with that.
