It sounds like another big hit for Blake Shelton.
No artist is on a roll like Blake Shelton.
He’s going on 15 years on the country charts. Early on in his career, Blake struggled to find consistent success. He shot out of the gates with a huge number one hit. Then he had a few smaller hits.
Then he came out again with a big hit followed by smaller hits.
The story was inconsistency.
How the times have changed. Blake is riding something like a dozen number one singles in a row. That’s pretty crazy especially in today’s competitive landscape.

The story is a familiar one. We have a guy that’s been dumped or that has lost his girl. He’s going through all the heartache and he really doesn’t know what to do so he heads to the local bar where the neon light is calling him.
That’s where the guy really finds his sign. He’s got good drinks and good company. And there might even be a few girls there waiting to comfort him and he’s ready to go.
The song is good. It kind of fits right in with the songs we’ve been hearing from Blake the last few years and that’s just fine. I’m sure his fans and fans throughout country music are going to be digging it.
