A killer album cut from Billy.
Billy Currington is coming off yet another number one hit. It’s pretty incredible how he’s been able to sustain his career over the years. Not many that broke when he did are still around, but he’s still as big as ever and seemingly getting better and better.
His last single was the fourth off his last album. Usually artists won’t go beyond 3 or 4 singles from an album. It could happen, but I would expect something totally new in the coming months.
But I don’t want you to miss out on this great album cut that would make a great next single.

Is that not classic Billy Currington right there?
When the album first came out a couple years ago that was one of the songs that I would play over and over again. It’s just super catchy and fun. Nothing too serious, but it doesn’t need to be like that all the time.
Billy has shown over the years that he can take on just about any song. But he’s really one of the best at this kind of song. A little beachy. A little nostalgia. A little longing for a good time and not taking life too seriously. And this song hits on all those all wrapped up in a killer melody.
I’m not sure what Billy’s plans are for the next couple months. He could be finishing up a new single to lead into a new album to release in time for the holiday season. Or he could be looking at taking some time off.
Who knows…
But in the meantime we can still enjoy this one.
