Kevin Fowler

Here’s one that’s a little slowed down from Kevin Fowler.

So it was time to check out the Texas Country Charts once again. Right up there near the top was Kevin Fowler. Now, I’ve been a fan of Kevin’s for a few years. He’s had a few songs on the mainstream charts before. He’s been with the bigger labels, but now I think he’s still out on his own. And it’s pretty impressive because his albums have been cracking the mainstream charts. Here is the new single and video. You won’t hear it on mainstream radio, but I know plenty will be streaming it online and hearing it in concert.

Panhandle Poorboy – Kevin Fowler

This one is a little different than other Kevin Fowler songs. You know he has a fun side and likes to have a good time. He’s certainly humorous and his songs in the past have shown that. I think it’s one of the things that appeals to all his fans. But he’s always been able to do just about any kind of song out there and this is another example of that.

It’s an autobiographical song. Kevin is from the panhandle of Texas and that’s what the song is about. He talks about the life he lived as he was growing up. He knows it was tough, but also knows that it was a big part of the person he is today. And he looks on it fondly like most of us do when we look back to our raising.

Share your thoughts on this one. I think it’s a good one.
