It’s been over a decade since Steve Holy released his first single.
In those 10+ years he’s only released three albums. He’s had a handful of hits with a few major hits. That’s just kind of how his career has gone. It’s been up and it’s been down, but he’s always been there releasing new music and looking for it to hit.
This year’s new song is Radio Up and it’s another one that’s pretty good.

From the title I thought this song was going to be a rocking country track about all the good music you hear in life. That would’ve made for a pretty good song, but this one goes in a completely different direction.
The song is about a girl that’s breaking up with a guy. He knows it was coming, but he doesn’t want to admit it so he turns up the radio to drown out what she’s saying. He wishes that song would’ve played all day so he couldn’t hear those final words.
Instead, the couple breaks up. There was nothing that was going to stop her from leaving and now the guy is left all alone.
This is a pretty good song. I don’t know if it’s going to bring Steve Holy storing back, but that will be up to the fans to decide.
