Hunter Hayes is back trying a new single out.
It’s been an interesting career so far for Hunter Hayes. He really burst onto the scene in 2012. His song, Wanted, was a huge country hit, but also crossed over into the pop world and on a few other charts.
Things were looking big for the newcomer. And he followed that up with a few more big hits.
Since then he’s continued to release great music. The positions on the charts, though, for those songs haven’t been quite as high as his first few singles.
He released a song last year that kind of stalled out on the charts. This new one sounds good. We’ll see how it does.
Rescue – Hunter Hayes
The cool thing about Hunter is that he really seems to have his style locked in. There’s elements of pop, but also definitely some country. It’s a little mix of Rascal Flatts and maybe a little modern day Kenny Chesney. This song definitely has a little Kenny Chesney on Come Over to it.
The song, I think, is about a guy that’s trying to figure out how to let a woman know how important she is to him. It sounds like there have been some struggles in his life. Maybe it’s mostly been his own fault. Maybe there have been some things that he really couldn’t control.
But right now she’s been there to help him through it all. It’s like she’s been there to rescue him before he could really go down the wrong path in life.
How do you think this song will do?
Chart Estimate: #15
