Here is the new song from Locash.

One of the great stories in country the last couple years has been Locash. I don’t think I’ve heard any DJ or music exec or artist or anyone else in the industry that isn’t happy for these guys.

They struggled on the edge of the mainstream for a number of years. They had a good sound. It was unique and it seemed like they would be a fit on country radio, but they could never get that breakthrough hit.

Now they’re coming off a #2 song and a brand new #1 song and they’re looking to keep the momentum going.

Ring On Every Finger – Locash

I might have to come back and do another review for the next single from these guys, but I think this is the next one off their album, The Fighters. I have to say that it would be a good choice. That entire album is really good. I hadn’t really listened to it, but I have been recently and there are a number of good songs that could be singles.

And this is definitely one of those songs that has the potential to be a hit. The song is about a guy that’s really in love with a girl. Maybe she’s not entirely convinced that he’s on board with being with her forever. Maybe he’s getting a little pressure from her dad or something like that.

Or maybe they’re just crazy in love and he’s looking for a way to express all the feelings that he’s having. And the way that comes to mind is that he’d put a ring on every finger to show her how committed he is to her and the love they have together.

It sounds like a hit to me.

What do you think?

Chart Estimate: #5

CML Points: 85/100
