It’s easy to forget now just how big Gretchen Wilson was when she first burst on the country music scene. I guess it’s going on thirteen years now since she came on the scene as the new Redneck Woman. It was a pretty cool time in country music.

Gretchen always felt like someone that lived out in the sticks as your neighbor. She liked to sing about all things going on in small town America and that includes getting a little rowdy sometimes.

Here is her new song that is as party as it gets.

Gretchen sounds as good as ever. She’s out on her own now and pushing this single on her own. That’s not an easy way to go, but if anyone is going to make it happen you know it’s going to be Gretchen. You always got the vibe that she was going to do whatever she wanted without caring much what you thought.

And that’s pretty cool.

Doesn’t this one sound like it’ll be playing in bars all across the country? It feels like it’s perfect for Friday and Saturday nights. You put this one on and everybody moves to the dance floor and starts rocking out and letting loose to have a good time.

And I’m sure this one has been going good in the live show. And if you’re heading to a Gretchen show this summer then this new one will probably get people going a little crazy.
