I’m rooting for Kip Moore to succeed. I guess you could easily say that he’s already been a success in country music. I, like his fans, are really hoping he can keep that success up.

He’s different than other artists in country music and I think that’s a really good thing. He has a unique voice. His style is different and that’s all reflected in his music.

Here is his new single.

Running For You – Kip Moore

This is a pretty cool love song. You have a guy that is ready to do anything for this girl. If she’s in trouble he’s ready to come running to her to help out.

I wasn’t really sure how to categorize this one. I thought love song I guess and it is a story of the love this guy has for this girl, but it’s also a really sad song. The girl is leaving. I don’t know if we can say the exact reason that she’s leaving, but for some reason they’re going to be apart. The guy feels that it’s for the best, but he still loves her.

So that’s a pretty sad song and you get the entire Kip Moore treatment on this one. The raspy vocals are there. The laid back style with passionate delivery is there. This is kind of becoming the Kip Moore staple and that’s a good thing.

I’m curious about where this one will land on the charts. Kip’s last single, I’m To Blame, seemed like a huge hit, but it only reached #20 on the radio charts.

Will this one get higher?
