Welcome back, Sara Evans.
Sara’s back in a big way in 2011. She gave a great performance recently on the ACM Awards. I thought she did a great job. It’s always good to hear her voice. Sara’s recently released studio album – her first in quite some time – debuted at #1 on the country albums chart. Her latest hit single is in the top ten and climbing.
It’s been a good start to 2011.
Someone pointed me in the direction of Sara’s recent performance on Walmart’s Soundcheck. The entire show is great and worth checking out. If you’re a Sara Evans fan you’ll see she’s in great form in this setting.
One song that stood out in the performance for me was . It’s a new track off Sara’s latest album. It’s unknown – at least to me at this point – what Sara’s next single will be, but I think this track would be as good a choice as any.
It’s a great track with a fun, upbeat tempo. It kind of reminds me of As If a little bit. It’s about throwing all caution to the wind and enjoying life right now. It’s a song about being in love and having the freedom to do anything and go anywhere. The freedom to do anything with the person you love is a great release from the daily grind.
Living on love alone is all you really need in life to get by. For the most part believing that love will get you wherever you want to go is the way to live. You’ll be happy and content with how things go.
Sara does a great job on Anywhere and I’m hoping to hear it on the radio in the near future. Perhaps it’ll be the next single.
