Sarah Darling has released quite a few singles already. The country newcomer just hasn’t quite found that one hit to take her into the higher regions of the charts. She has a new single out now and it sounds really good. Check out this liver performance from the Grande Ole Opry.

There is no doubt that Sarah is a country artist. You can hear it in her voice as she sings. I think she did a great job with this performance. It can’t be easy for any artist to perform live and Sarah really nailed it.

Home To Me is already Sarah’s seventh single release and I think it’s her best. Sometimes it takes some time for a new artist to find that one single that will get the attention of the mainstream audience. I think this could be that single.

From what I can gather in the lyrics this is the story of a young couple falling in love. The narrator in the song is telling her lover how he makes her feel. She’s been all over the world, but he’s the one that feels like home to her. She compares him and the love he shares like all the beautiful places she’s been. There is something about him that is in each of those places, but when she’s with him she feels at home.

It’s a cool hook for a song and I think it really works.

The song is a great story, but more than that you can really find yourself singing along. It’s a great melody and with Sarah’s country voice on top it makes for a hit single.
